Ajax Hybrid Light Illumination Cameras
Hybrid illumination cameras automatically switches between infrared and white light based on object recognition or motion detection. This ensures high image quality in low-light conditions and at night.
The feature provides full-color footage that helps identify clothing, vehicle color, or other critical details. The sudden white light can also act as a deterrent, making intruders aware they have been spotted.
Ajax Line Crossing Detection
Line crossing detection is a feature that enables video surveillance cameras to respond when a specified object such as person, pet, or vehicle crosses a virtual line drawn in the camera frame. When the line is crossed, the system can send a notification or an alarm and record the crossing footage in the archive.
The feature enables you to add up to 4 lines per camera. For each line, you can set the crossing direction, select which objects trigger the event (person, pet, and vehicle), and define how the system notifies you when the line is crossed.
The system can send a regular notification or raise an alarm. You can also enable sirens to activate when a line is crossed. Each notification includes information about which line was crossed and lets you instantly open the corresponding camera feed or recorded video.

Ajax Video Scenarios
The Ajax system offers the capability to use IP cameras for alarm verification. Video scenarios enable the substantiation of alarm triggers with the corresponding video from cameras installed at the facility.
Cameras can be configured to respond to alarms from a single device, multiple devices, or all connected devices. Combined detectors can register various types of alarms, allowing you to configure responses to a wide range of alarm types, whether it’s just one, several, or all of them.
The maximum number of Video Scenarios supported varies by Ajax hub: Hub 2 supports up to 32 scenarios, and Hub 2 Plus supports up to 64 scenarios.
Note: This feature is available only when the Ajax Intruder Alarm System is integrated with Ajax CCTV System.
Activate Alarm Siren When Ajax CCTV Detects Video AI Object
We can configure the sirens to activate when motion or a specific AI-recognised object is detected. When video devices detect motion or a specific AI-recognised object, the system automatically activates sirens added to the hub to sound an alarm.
The Activate Sirens Upon Detection feature provides substantial security benefits across diverse environments. This feature can be set to operate constantly or only when the system is armed.
Note: This feature is available only when the Ajax Intruder Alarm System is integrated with Ajax CCTV System.
Activate Outdoor Lights When Ajax CCTV Detects Video AI Object
When a video device detects motion, recognises specific objects using AI, or when the DoorBell button is pressed, the system can activate one or several relay-type devices within the same space.
For example, if a camera in an armed space detects a person, it can instantly switch on outdoor lights and activate siren, creating a first line of defense.

Micro SD Card Backup for Ajax Cameras
We recommend fitting all Ajax cameras with 256GB Micro SD cards. These act as a reliable local backup in case the NVR is removed, stolen, or there’s a critical network failure helping to ensure that important footage isn’t lost and offering extra peace of mind.
There are two recording options for local backup: the cameras can either record object detection events (such as human or vehicle movement), or be set to record continuously.
Ajax cameras support Micro SD cards up to 256GB, which can provide approximately four to five days of continuous recording 4K 8MP, depending on the frame rate and settings.
We only use memory cards that are approved by Ajax, rated with a high Video Speed Class and specifically designed for video surveillance. These ensure high data transfer rates and can handle high-resolution video without dropping frames.
Please Note: Actual recording duration may vary depending on factors such as video codec, resolution, frame rate, bit rate, GOP (Group of Pictures) length, and VBR (Variable Bit Rate) quality settings.
