We partner with Omnivision Monitoring, a certified Ajax Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), to provide secure 24/7 remote monitoring. Our Grade 2 or 3 certified solution ensures peace of mind, offering visual verification and home automation for enhanced security.

How does Alarm Monitoring work?

When an Ajax detection device, such as the Ajax MotionCam (PhOD), is triggered, an alarm signal along with images of the intruder is sent to the Monitoring ARC (Alarm Receiving Centre). Trained operators then assess the situation and take appropriate action. If clear visual evidence of an intruder is confirmed, the police can be contacted immediately. The ARC will also call the property owner will be contacted to verify the alarm in accordance with your instructions. Alerts are transmitted via 2G/3G/4G (LTE), broadband, or both, ensuring reliable communication.

With 24/7 monitoring, trained operators at our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) will:

• Verify alarms with photo evidence

• Call the police when necessary

• Contact the owner immediately

• Provide round-the-clock protection

Please Note: Police response is only available when using Ajax MotionCam (PhOD) devices, which provide photo verification of intruders. These devices capture images of the scene, offering clear visual evidence of an intrusion. This verification significantly increases the likelihood of police intervention, ensuring a swift response and enhancing the security of your property.

Without photo verification of an intruder or visible signs of a break-in, Omnivision will not contact the police, and they will not respond. However, the property owner will be contacted to alert them of the alarm trigger.

For example, we would install an Ajax MotionCam (PhOD) in the hallway facing the front entry/exit door, ensuring clear visual verification of any intrusion. Additional MotionCam (PhOD) devices would be strategically placed at other key entry points, such as patio or bi-fold doors and kitchen doors, to provide comprehensive coverage. This setup enhances security by capturing real-time images when motion is detected, allowing for quick verification and response to any potential threats.

We may also recommend adding the MotionCam Outdoor HighMount (PhOD) for enhanced outdoor perimeter protection. This device provides early detection of intruders before they reach entry points, offering an additional layer of security. With real-time photo verification, it helps to distinguish genuine threats from false alarms, ensuring a swift and accurate response.
