Battery Replacement Policy

Battery levels are checked during every maintenance visit. If battery replacement is required, this will be discussed with you before replacement. Replacement batteries are supplied at cost and are not included in the annual maintenance fee unless otherwise agreed.

Free battery replacement is included for larger sites with over 100 Ajax alarm devices, covering standard device batteries as part of the annual aftercare service to help reduce ongoing maintenance costs and ensure the system continues to operate reliably without interruption

Note: This service is available exclusively to new N.S.L Security Systems Ltd customers who are about to have the Ajax Intruder Alarm System or Ajax CCTV System installed by us and opt for this service from the installation date.
Ajax Aftercare Maintenance Service is is an annually contracted subscription service that ensures your Ajax security system remains in optimal condition. It includes system checks, updates, and troubleshooting to keep your security running smoothly.

Here’s what you’ll receive:

  • Annual On-Site Maintenance Service Visit

  • Priority Remote Technical Support

  • Priority Phone & Email Support

  • Priority Rapid Response & Call-Out Service

  • Reduced Call-Out Charge for the first call-out

Once a year, there is an Ajax Aftercare Maintenance on-site visit to ensure the equipment’s full functionality, maintaining the system’s performance and reliability. During this visit, an engineer will perform physical and visual inspections to detect any damages and ensure that all components are in working order. A checklist log will be filled out to document and report any potential defects or issues with the system. Additionally, all hardware, including the external cameras, will be cleaned to remove dust and residue.

The engineer will also conduct checks on various aspects, such as the hard drive, playback recording, network connection, cables, firmware updates, and system testing. Battery levels of the Ajax Wireless Intruder Alarm System will be checked during the annual on-site visit. If any batteries are found to be low, they will be replaced; however, the cost of replacement batteries is not included and will be charged separately.

As part of our Ajax Aftercare Maintenance Service, in the event of a system fault, an engineer will be promptly arranged for assistance. Remote maintenance service checks will also occur.
