The Ajax Hub SIM Card Service enables the connectivity of the Ajax Hub, the central unit of the system, to the internet for transmitting alarm notifications. Various channels can be used for this internet connection, including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and SIM Card. The hub is available in two versions: with 2G and 2G/3G/4G.

While an Ethernet connection is the preferred option, the use of a SIM card is viable if an Ethernet connection is unavailable. In such cases, the SIM card can serve as a backup channel by being placed in the Hub.

It’s essential to note that the primary link to the Cloud is always the Ethernet cable connecting your router to the Hub. However, in the event of a home internet outage, the SIM card’s data connection can sustain the Cloud connection. This ensures that notifications generated by the Hub, such as burglary alerts, will continue to be delivered to your phone.
